Ocean’s Bounty™ Management Group, LLC (“OBMG”), is a South Carolina consulting and business development company focusing on new technology related to the development of high-density penaeid (saltwater) shrimp aquaculture. OBMG is the founding member of Ocean’s Bounty Seafarms™, LLC, a shrimp production company that shall utilize our available technologies to commercialize the “closed-loop, super-intensive” production system. This system is a greenhouse-covered raceway system, utilizing super-intensive water management techniques. The production system that has been designed and engineered by OBMG, expands on proven R&D work performed by key marine scientists at the Waddell Mariculture Research and Development Center (“Waddell”, a division of the S.C. Dept. of Natural Resources, www.usmsfp.org/news/report.htm) in Bluffton, SC, and others. OBMG has engineered an environmentally friendly, high output production system for food shrimp enabling the year-round production of marine shrimp (initially Penaeus vannamei) with product output tailored to the needs of the end user. This product can be delivered fresh or frozen to most U.S. markets within 24 hours of harvesting. It is a product of utmost freshness, and is disease, drug and pollutant free.
